DEFENDING THE FAITH AND FISHING FOR MEN

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God
 and the Word was God...
 ~ John 1:1 ~

The bible is God-breathed, inerrant and infallible. It contains all we need to know for a right relationship with God and to know His dealings with and plans for man.

God is triune, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each are equal in nature, power, and purpose. They are three [persons] that make the one God.

God created man in His own image, without sin and with the freedom of will. Adam and Eve chose to sin by disobeying God and incurred through their sin the nature of sin to mankind. This caused a spiritual division between man and God, prompting God to provide the plan for salvation, the chance for reconciliation.

The Son came by His own will, being sent by the Father, to become the ransom for the sins of the world. He was born of the virgin Mary, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and lived a perfect sinless life, fulfilling the law of God.

Jesus the Son, took on the nature of man while still possesing His nature as God, making Him both the Son of God and the Son of man.

Jesus was put to death by crucifixion, was placed in a tomb, bodily rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to heaven after showing Himself alive to many.

Anyone who desires to be reconciled to God must go through Jesus, knowing their need for God and believeing in the sacrifice that was made for sin.

Those who choose to be reconciled to God and reamain faithful, will be brought to the presence of God and receive the reward of eternal life. All of those who deny their opportunity to be reconciled to God, will be sent to the place prepared for Satan and his angels, eternally separated from God.

"Who do you say that I am?"

~ Jesus ~
